In 2005 the brewery acquired a popular brewery, Tinkoff, located in Pushkin, just outside St. Petersburg. The Tinkoff brewery was privately owned and was established in 1998 starting life as a micro-brewery and restaurant in the centre of St. Petersburg. It laid claim that Tinkoff was the first Russian beer to enter the US market.
Sun InBev has interests in 10 breweries in the Russian Federation in the following cities:
Klin, Volzhskiy, Omsk, Perm, Saransk, Ivanovo, Kursk, Novocheboksarsk, Angarsk and St. Petersburg
The brewery also owns 6 malt-houses.
The company produces a range of domestic brands and international brands under license.
